My own thoughts on improving Van Helsing:

Serious:

if this were a Xena style series, I would never miss an episode.

Dracula was too much of a ham. I would have recast with a better actor- maybe Vincent D'Onofrio

animated segues

catchy opening theme, like the 60's Batman had.

Put it on TV, Sunday nights, right after Simpsons.


Not really serious, but it totally occurred to me:

Make it a musical. With the werewolf beat-boxing and dracula rapping and Frankenstein pop-locking all over the place, and those Deatha-loompa things running around doing dance numbers.

Change the main characters name to 'Simon Belmont' and the movies name to 'Castlevania: The Movie'

First of all... they were jawas... not ewoks. Ewoks are not evil if they know why the hell you're in their forrest.

Second of all, Carl got laid because he is the perfect mixture of Q's genious, Faramir's hotness, and all the funny in the world.

Third of all. That was hilarious. I loved it. Yey to Van Helsing. Here's hoping there is a sequel. (So long as it involves Carl, Hugh Jackman in tight pants, a hot heroic minor character, a hot evil dude, and the heroine being smushed to death in the end!)
